We meet face to face with our clients to discuss the development and implementation of a organizationally specific retention plan. The plan starts during the process of recruiting new physicians to the community and continues throughout their career within your organization. With over three decades of physician recruitment, practice management and contract acquisition experience the senior management at EOS Healthcare Solutions is an experienced team to partner with for the retention process.
Consultants from EOS Healthcare Solutions will consult with your organization's administration to determine the details of the retention plan and the organization's current status/stability. Together, we will develop your roadmap for the future as the process of retention starts in the recruitment stage of a physician's career.
Consultants from EOS Healthcare Solutions will determine the competitive factors that are most important in the recruitment & retention of physicians in your market. This will entail such factors as compensation levels, compensation models, work schedule, hospital support services and quality of life issues.
Using the data attained through the retention consultation and the regional market analysis, EOS consultants and the organizations management will develop and implement a customized retention plan. The plan will be monitored and refined over a 180 period to ensure that it is a perfect fit for your organization.
Recent AMGA surveys state that the number of medical groups with targeted retention initiatives has increased from 40% in 2004 to 58% in 2005.
Another recent survey concluded that the physicians aren't feeling the effects of the stepped-up retention efforts. Eighty-four percent of the 2500+ physicians surveyed said that a physician retention plan was "very important" or "important" to physician satisfaction. Yet, only 10% said that their organization has such a plan in place. In the 10% of these respondents, more than half of them said that the retention plans were inadequate.
